Leaves As A Flower
- DIY craft kids can make

White wall with no decoration at all! No waaaay! That’s not awesome at all. So, I take a look of what I have and what I can do to not let the wall empty. I plan to make two or three wall decoration with quilting, but I realize it will be a long journey. Papercraft will be easier to make, but paper are vulnerable if not protected with frame, easy to tear and can’t be wash if dirty.
I remember that there are used wood planks near the dock in front of our house. I went there, choose one plank that match with my needs. Clean the plank with damp clothes, paint it with brown, write the “God is love” on it, and glue some embelishments.
I also add dry leaves on top of the burlap. As you can see, the dry leaves form petals. I put an artificial flower at the middle of the petals. It is easy to glue those dry leaves, I only need crafting glue. And the dry leaves become the center point of this wall decor!
The last step, I cover my new wall decoration using matte coating to make it more durable. I like it! this wall decor add some nature tone to my wall.
