Chocolate - Strawberry Mille Crepes Recipe

Mille Crepes with its thousands of layers is a part of our family's long adventure, here is why.
It's been a year since my husband said that he wanted to enjoy Mille Crepes soon as we arrived in Jakarta. But we couldn't get it due to the Covid-19 outbreak here.
We have been living in Jakarta for one year, a large city which is the capital city of Indonesia. Previously we lived in a remote area in Riau. About 6 months after we moved to Jakarta, the Covid-19 outbreak hit our country as a result we limiting ourselves by didn't go to the restaurant.
So, I offered him to cook the Mille Crepes. I asked him whether he like the chocolate, vanilla, tiramisu, or the one with cream cheese. He chooses chocolate! So I use Vanilla Mille Crepes, but I modified it to be chocolate Mille Crepes and adding strawberry as the filling.
Ingredients:
400 ml of milk
7 tbsp margarine
6 eggs
7 tbsp sugar
150 gr all-purpose flour
20 gr choco powder
A pinch of salt
Whipped cream
Strawberry sliced
125 gr dark cooking chocolate
4 tbsp unsalted butter
Powdered sugar
5 tbsp rum
How to make:
1. Boil the milk briefly, then let it cool. Heat the margarine until it melts, then let it cool.
2. Put the eggs and sugar into the mixer bowl, run the mixer on medium speed. When the eggs and sugar are well mixed, add flour, cocoa powder, salt, milk, and melted margarine. Mix until well blended.
3. Heat a pan with a diameter of 20 cm, grease with vegetable oil. Use a ladle to pour the dough. Do this until the dough runs out. If the dough starts to stick to the pan, repeat greasing the pan with vegetable oil.
4. After all the dough becomes crepes, prepare the whipped cream and strawberry sliced. Put one crepe on a serving plate, then put two tablespoons of whipped cream on top of it, put 3-5 strawberries slices on top of the whipped cream. For the strawberry slices arrangement, please adjust according to your taste, I don't put strawberry slices on each layer, only in a few layers. Do this until all the crepes are piled up. The top crepe doesn't need whipped cream on top of it. Then put the Mille Crepes in the refrigerator.

5. Meanwhile, chop dark cooking chocolate. Place dark cooking chocolate and unsalted butter in a container to melt. You can use the microwave to melt the chocolate.

6. Remove the crepes from the refrigerator, spread the top crepe with rum. You can also spread the side of the Mille Crepes with the rum if you like. Then pour the melted chocolate over them, let the melted chocolate flow to the edge of the Mille Crepes, then sprinkle with powdered sugar on top. Put it in the refrigerator. You can slice your Mille Crepes when it is still frozen.

These Mille Crepes are best to serve when frozen. Chocolate, whipped cream, combined with the rum and strawberry is delicious! Hmm… It is a very match to be enjoyed with this Sababay wine. What an amazing delicacy!
