Do You Need To Be A Tiger Mom To Educate Your Child? - MKB Blog Hop

- 15 April 2016
Years ago, I read "Battle Hymn Of The Tiger Mother", this book teach me a lot about how Asian parents educate their children. I felt so agree with the book, and at the same time... disagree! Why I agree? Yes, that is the most Asian parents do to their children! Why I disagree? That's absolutely not the right parenting method for me. I am Asian mom, but I will not do that to my child.
Kids have the right to walk on their own passion and their own time. Parent can't push them to be like parent's wish. That's what I understand and apply in my parenting. But I enjoy reading Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother. And when I read Crystal's post about Lessons Learned From Beyond The Tiger Mom, I'm so "Yes! This is it!" Crystal did success to make me want to read Beyond The Tiger Mom by Maya Thiagarajan. So I decide to featuring her post in Creative Kids Culture Blog Hop.
